Adam Spencer, a junior at Wisconsin representing Australia, won the top section of the men's 800 meters in 1:47.47 at the Stanford Invitational at Cobb Track and Angell Field in Palo Alto, Calif. Spencer is scheduled to compete in the 1,500 meters April 11 at his national team trials to determine the roster for Athletics Australia at the Paris Olympics.
